My name is Maria Teresa and I live with my two daughters, Rachel and Irene, in a single-family house on the outskirts of Zamora, a small and quiet town in northwestern Spain.
The name of our cattery, Semurah, comes from how this city was called in times of Arabic domination.
Our first Ragdoll came home two years ago. She captivated us with her character and temperament, and thus the idea appeared of dedicating ourselves to raising this breed, accepting all the work and dedication involved, and a commitment to preserve and improve their qualities in terms of beauty, character and temperament.
Our cats share the whole house with us, including the breeding male, there are no cages. We don’t care about their markings, it is just a matter of a little more hygiene and patience. For us the socializeing is essential, apart from that, their constant presence give us great pleasure.
We feed our cats the best quality food, to achieve their best potential. Twice a week we also give them canned food, also top quality, including vitamins, malt and the odd prize.
All are regularly checked by your veterinary, who maintained a careful control regarding revisions, vaccines and debugs.

Our cats also live with our two dogs: Lord Byron, a beautiful Golden Retriever, and Chippie, a Maltese funny.
Our house is very big and has space for mothers to have a room alone, so they can breed their kittens with the utmost tranquillity and security.
We also have outside areas properly equipped to prevent escapes. Our cats love to enjoy the fresh air and the sunshine.
Our affix is registered in FIFE, TICA and WCF.
We are partners of ASFE, CFM y del Club Amigos del Ragdoll.
We are members of Ragdoll Fanciers Club International and Ragdoll International.
We are subscribed to several websites vets.
